Description of Ditropan

The generic name of Ditropan is oxybutynin chloride. It belongs to a therapeutic group of drugs known as antispasmodic and anticholinergic medications. Ditropan is available in the form of an oral tablet. Each tablet contains 5 mg of oxybutynin chloride. It is not advisable to buy Ditropan online without consulting a doctor as it is a prescription drug.

Indications & Dosage of Ditropan

Ditropan is used in the treatment of muscle spasms in the urinary tract and the bladder. It is prescribed by a doctor to provide relief to patients suffering from symptoms of bladder instability or reflex neurogenic bladder. The drug is highly effective for people who experience symptoms such as frequent or urgent urination, urine leakage, dysuria, and increased night urination.
