The generic name of Duetact is glimepiride and pioglitazone. It belongs to a group of medicines known as thiazolidinediones. Duetact is a combination drug available in the form of oral tablets as 30 mg pioglitazone and 2 mg glimepiride and 30 mg pioglitazone and 4 mg glimepiride.
