Description of Evoclin

Evoclin is used to treat severe acne caused by a bacterial attack on the skin. The generic name of the drug is Clindamycin Topical. The brand names of the drug are Cleocin T, ClindaMax, Clindagel, ClindaReach Pledget and Evoclin.

You can buy Evoclin in the form of a lotion, medicated swab and foam. The drug must be applied on the affected area as per the prescription of the doctor. Wash your hands properly before administering Evoclin. Wash your face with mild soap or cleanser and pat it dry with a clean towel. Shake the bottle of medication if you are using the lotion, and apply it on the affected area. If you are using the swab or medicated pad, apply it on the affected area gently. You must discard the swab after use. The number of swabs depends on the affected area. If you are using the foam, apply it on the affected area. Don’t spray Evoclin foam directly on the face. Spray it on a cold surface first. You must wash your hands immediately after administering Evoclin.

Indications & Dosage of Evoclin

Evoclin contains clindamycin, an antibiotic that prevents the bacteria from growing and multiplying.

The recommended dosage of Evoclin depends on the medical condition and response to treatment. The lotion is usually applied only one time per day, while the foam is applied two times. Make sure that the lotion and foam are not coming in direct contact with your eyes, nose or lips. You must not share Evoclin with others. If you miss a dose of Evoclin, take it as soon as you remember. If it is time for the next dose, skip the missed dose. An overdose may result in watery diarrhea. Seek immediate medical attention in case of an overdose. If you do not find any improvement after using Evoclin for more than two weeks, consult your doctor.

You must keep Evoclin at room temperature, away from heat and moisture. Don’t keep the drug near a fire as it is inflammable. Don’t smoke while administering Evoclin. Keep it away from the reach of children. Don’t throw the empty canister in a fire.
