Description of Inderal LA
Inderal LA is a synthetic beta adrenergic receptor blocking agent. The active ingredient in this drug is Propanolol Hydrochloride. For treating migraine and high blood pressure, the initial dosage is usually Inderal LA 80mg. The dosage can be gradually increased to Inderal LA 160 mg to be taken once or twice daily, depending on the severity of symptoms and individual response. The dosage should not exceed 320 mg in a day.
Side Effects & Interactions of Inderal LA
Propranolol Hydrochloride can cause adverse reaction in certain individuals. Some of the less severe side effects associated with this drug are - loss of libido, loss of sleep, loose motion/constipation and nausea.
