Description of Indocin SR

Indocin SR is a brand name for the sustained-release preparation of Indomethacin. Doctors often ask patients to buy Indocin SR as it not only offers the convenience of a single dosage, but also effectively controls the pain and inflammation associated with joint disorders. Indocin belongs to the NSAID group of drugs that work by blocking the hormones responsible for causing pain, inflammation and fever in the body.

The medication is available in capsule form as Indocin SR 75 mg for oral administration. In addition to Indomethacin, the drug contains Ethyl Cellulose, Lactose Monohydrate, Silicon Dioxide, Gelatin, Povidone, Sodium Lauryl Sulphate, Titanium Dioxide, Cornstarch, Talc and Sucrose as inactive non-medical ingredients.
