Description of Indocin

Indocin belongs to the nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory (NSAIDs) group of drugs. The active ingredient in this drug is Indomethacin, which acts as a Cyclo-oxygenase 1 & 2 inhibitor. Indocin works by blocking the production of prostaglandins, responsible for causing pain and inflammation in the body.
