Indications & Dosage of Olux Foam
Olux Foam is indicated for the short treatment of itching and burning caused by skin diseases of the scalp. The doctor may also recommend Olux Foam for the treatment of psoriasis.

Do not dispense the medication in your hand. Invert the can and dole out a small amount of foam in saucer or cap of the container. Pick up small quantity of foam on the fingers and gently apply it to the affected skin area. Massage in gently until foam disappears from the application site.
Side Effects & Interactions of Olux Foam
Like all other medicines, Olux Foam may also cause mild to severe side effects in some patients. However, not all people who use this medication experience side effects. As a matter of fact, many people who use this medication do not complain about any side effects.
Less severe side effects associated with Olux Foam are: mild skin irritation, burning, or dryness. Consult your doctor if any of these side effects become bothersome.
Severe side effects associated with Olux Foam are: thinning, discoloration or softening of the skin; acne like rash; irritation, swelling, burning, peeling or cracking of the skin not present before you started using Olux Foam; inflammation around the mouth; unusual weight gain, especially in the face; numbness of the fingers, inflamed hair follicles; or muscle weakness. This is not a complete list of side effects associated with the medication.
Olux Foam may also cause symptoms of high blood sugar such as increased hunger, urination or thirst; flushing; unusual drowsiness, rapid breathing, or confusion. Stop using the medication and consult your doctor if you experience severe side effects after using the medication.
