Description of Skelaxin

Skelaxin is a prescription drug which contains metaxalone as its active ingredient. It belongs to the class of medications known as muscle relaxants. Although the exact mechanism of action of Skelaxin is not yet known, it is believed to act on the central nervous system and relieve certain nervous impulses (that cause pain sensations) in the brain.
