Description of Declomycin

Declomycin is an oral antibiotic medication with the generic name Demeclocycline. It belongs to a group of drugs known as Tetracycline. Declomycin is available in the form of a tablet. It is supplied in Declomycin 150mg strength. The drug is a prescription medication, which means you need to consult your doctor before you buy Declomycin online.

Indications & Dosage of Declomycin

Declomycin is indicated in the treatment of specific bacterial infections. It is only used to treat infections caused by susceptible strains of bacteria. The drug should not be used to treat viral infections.

Demeclocycline, the main active ingredient in the medication, works by affecting the bacterial cell’s ability to produce specific protein that is necessary for their survival. This action of Declomycin stops the growth of bacteria and helps cure the infection.

Your doctor will give you specific instructions regarding the dosage. The usual recommended adult dose of Declomycin is four doses of 150mg daily or two doses of 300mg daily. You need to take the recommended dose 1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal.
