Description of Emsam

Emsam falls under a category of drugs known as monoamine oxidase inhibitors or MAOIs. The generic name of this drug is Selegiline. It is administered transdermally and is available in form of a skin patch that delivers Selegiline over a period of 24 hours. Indications & Dosage of Emsam

Emsam is indicated for the treatment of clinical depression, also referred to as major depression.
