Frequently Asked Questions

  • 1.

Where do you get the medications?

We offer medications from international pharmacies and dispensaries who purchase from international manufacturers and distributors. This means that the drugs you buy from us are completely legitimate and of the highest quality. They are produced by reputed pharmaceutical manufacturers as well that follow strict guidelines set by various government organizations.

Why are the names of drugs different from the ones available at my local store?

The name of a drug is usually just a brand name that has been copyrighted by the manufacturer. This means that other manufacturers that make the same drug cannot use the same brand name. Therefore, you will see some different brand names but the generic name of these drugs is the same. As well, some brand name manufacturers market a drug under one name in one country, and under a different name in another country, but it is still the same brand name drug. In other words, you have the same product being sold in different wrappings.

  • 3.

Why are the drugs in your website sold so cheap if they are ultimately the same as the ones that are more expensive?

The drugs sold from our website are cheaper than the ones you get from local stores because of the lower drug costs in other countries with price controls. We source brand name drugs from countries that regulate the prices of brand name drugs, so the prices we can offer you for the same medications are a lot lower. We also offer generic drugs which are substantially cheaper than brand name drugs. Branded drugs are often costlier because of the costs involved in researching the drug. On the other hand, generic drugs are cheaper because they only have to make up for the manufacturing cost.

What do you mean by generic drugs?

A generic drug is a copy of its branded version, which means that it contains the same active ingredient as a branded drug does. Like branded drugs, generic drugs also need to abide by strict manufacturing guidelines set by the appropriate government body. As a result, the quality of both a generic and branded drug is almost completely the same. However, it must be noted that generic drugs do vary from branded drugs in terms of minor ingredients used. For example, a generic drug may use different color compounds or tablet coating compounds from a branded drug. These differences are mostly cosmetic, and do not have any effect on the activity of the drug itself. To put it simply, generic drugs are the same as branded ones, except that they look a little different and are much cheaper than their branded counterpart is.

Do you offer controlled drugs or narcotics?
