Description of Demadex

Demadex is an oral medication with the generic name Torsemide. It belongs to a group of medications known as loop diuretics. The medication is available in the form of a tablet. It is a prescription medication, which means you need to consult your doctor before you buy Demadex online.

Indications & Dosage of Demadex

Demadex is indicated in the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure). It is also used to treat water retention caused due to different conditions such as kidney failure, congestive heart failure, or cirrhosis.

High blood pressure increases the workload on the arteries and veins. If the high blood pressure stays for long time, it may damage the blood vessels of the kidneys, brain or heart, leading to complications. Demadex affects the kidneys and causes an increase in the removal of water from the body in the form of urine, which helps lower blood pressure.

Your doctor will give you specific instructions regarding the dosage. The usual recommended adult dose of Demadex to treat hypertension is 5mg, once daily. Your doctor may increase the dosage if the blood pressure is not controlled by the current recommended dose.

Side Effects & Interactions of Demadex

Like all other drugs, Demadex may also cause mild to severe side effects in some patients. However, not all people who use this medication experience side effects. As a matter of fact, many people who use Demadex do not complain about any side effects.

The less severe side effects caused by Demadex are: runny nose, irregular heart rhythm, diarrhea, weakness, increased coughing, nervousness, nausea, joint pain, constipation, chest pain. Consult your doctor if any of these side effects become bothersome.

Some people may also experience severe side effects such as yellowing of the eyes or skin, high blood sugar, hearing problems or ringing in the ears, fainting spells, dizziness or lightheadedness. This is not a complete list of side effects associated with Demadex. Stop using the medication and consult your doctor if you experience severe side effects after taking a dose of Demadex.

In rare cases, Demadex may cause allergic reactions in some people. Seek medical attention immediately if you notice unexplained swelling or rash, itching or hives after using Demadex.

Demadex may potentially interact with other drugs you are using and cause side effects. It may interact with medicines such as Aminoglycoside antibiotics, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, Digoxin, some corticosteroids, Lithium, Probenecid, Salicylates, or other blood pressure medications. This list is not complete, and there are several other drugs that may interact with Demadex. Therefore, before you buy Demadex, inform the doctor about every medicine you are using, which includes prescription drugs, over the counter medications, and herbal supplements.

Warnings & Precautions of Demadex

You should not use Demadex if you are hypersensitive to any ingredient in it. It may not be the right drug for people with certain medical problems such as liver disease, diabetes, fluid or electrolyte problems, kidney disease or gout.

Demadex is listed as a category B pregnancy drug. Pregnant women should discuss the possible benefits and risks associated with the use of the drug with their doctor and then buy Demadex. It is not know whether the drug passes into breast milk, so nursing mothers should exercise caution regarding the use of this medication.
