Description of Levitra
Levitra is an oral drug prescribed to men in whom an enzyme known as phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) prevents proper functioning of the penis muscles leading to erectile dysfunction. Vardenafil, the active ingredient in Levitra, belongs to a class of drugs known as PDE5 inhibitors and acts by blocking the action of those enzymes in the muscles of the membrum virile. The generic name Levitra is known by is Vardenafil hydrochloride.
