The following ingredients are present in each capsule: butylated hydroxyanisole, hydrogenated vegetable oil, hydrogenated soybean oil flakes, beeswax, soybean oil, and edetate sodium.
Indications & Dosage of Accutane
Accutane is used for treating acne. This drug is used when other medications fail to heal acne. As this drug may cause serious side effects and is a prescription only medication, it is required that you consult your doctor before starting treatment.
Usually, the patients are administered Accutane 0.5 mg/kg/day to Accutane 1.0 mg/kg/day in two dosages for a period of 15-20 weeks. Patients with very severe nodular acne may be prescribed a higher dosage of Accutane 2.0 mg/kg/day for a period 15-20 weeks. You should always take your dosage with food.
