Description of Aricept ODT

Donepezil is the generic name for Aricept ODT. Available in the form of Donepezil hydrochloride, it is a white crystalline powder that is soluble in water, glacial acetic acid, and chloroform. You can buy Aricept ODT in the form of tablets available for oral administration using your prescription. Each tablet of Aricept ODT contains donepezil hydrochloride 5 mg or 10 mg. The inactive ingredients in Aricept ODT include mannitol, carrageenan, polyvinyl alcohol, and colloidal silicon dioxide. The standard dose for an adult patient is Aricept ODT 5 mg administered once daily. If significant changes are not noticed, doctors can increase the dose to Aricept ODT 10 mg administered once daily. Warnings & Precautions of Aricept ODT
