Description of Creon 5

Creon 5 is an oral medication with generic name Pancrelipase. It is a combination of three enzymes that includes lipase, protease, and amylase derived from porcine pancreatic glands. Creon 5 is available in the form of a delayed released formulation tablet. Each Creon 5 tablet contains lipase 5,000 USP Units, protease 18,750 USP Units and amylase 16,600 USP Units in form of Pancrelipase.
