Description of Dostinex
Dostinex is an oral drug prescribed to individuals with very high prolactin levels in the body. Cabergoline, the active compound in this drug belonging to the class of ergot medications, is a dopamine receptor antagonist. In patients who buy Dostinex, the pituitary gland is affected by its active ingredient, Cabergoline, to lower its level of prolactin production. The generic form is known as Cabergoline.
