Description of Eryc

Eryc is used to treat bacteria in the body. It belongs to the group of drugs called macrolide antibiotics. The generic name of the medicine is Erythromycin.

You can buy Eryc in the form of tablets and oral suspension. You must take the drug only as per the prescription and direction of your doctor. Eryc tablet is enteric-coated. Don’t crush, chew or open the tablet. Swallow it whole with a full glass of water. The coat will protect your stomach and if you open or crush the tablet, it will lose that feature. The recommended dosage of Eryc for adults is 250 mg every six hours, 333 mg every eight hours, or 500 mg every 12 hours. The dosage for children is 30-50 mg/kg. You must take Eryc on time. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible. If it is time for the next dose, skip the missed dose. Don’t take an overdose of Eryc. Seek emergency medical support in case of an overdose.
