Description of Exelon Patch

The generic name for Exelon Patch is Rivastigmine Transdermal System and is meant for transdermal administration only. The Exelon patch consists of four-layers of laminate including the backing layer, the drug matrix layer, the adhesive matrix layer and finally the overlapping release liner layer at the bottom.
