Description of Flomax CR
Tamsulosin hydrochloride is the generic name for Flomax CR and it is considered to be an antagonist of alpha1A adrenoceptors in the human prostrate. Tamsulosin hydrochloride exists in the form of white crystalline powder, which melts at 230°C. It is water soluble and is soluble also in ethanol and glacial acetic acid. The inactive ingredients of Flomax CR includes microcrystalline cellulose, methacrylic acid copolymer dispersion, calcium stearate, triacetin, FD&C blue No. 2, talc, ferric oxide, titanium dioxide, and gelatin. Indications & Dosage of Flomax CR
