Description of Myfortic

The generic name of the drug is Mycophenolate. It belongs to a family of medicines known as immunosuppressives. Myfortic is supplied in the form of an oral tablet. Myfortic is used to prevent organ rejection in a kidney transplant. The drug is used alone or in combination with other medicines such as Cyclosporine and a steroid medication.
