Description of Nexavar

The generic name of the drug is Sorafenib. It belongs to a family of medicines known as protein kinase inhibitors. Nexavar is available in the form of an oral tablet. The drug is a prescription medication, so you need to consult your doctor before you buy Nexavar online.

Indications & Dosage of Nexavar

Nexavar is indicated in treatment of advanced renal cell carcinoma (a type of kidney cancer) and hepatocellular carcinoma (a type of liver cancer). The drug blocks action of specific enzyme (protein kinase) which is found in cancer cells. This action of the drug reduces the growth of cancer cells.
