The generic name of Suprefact Injection is Buserelin Acetate. It belongs to a family of drugs known as antineoplastics. Suprefact Injection is indicated for intravenous use. This action of the drug helps in reducing the production of testosterone in men, which is known to stimulate the growth of prostate cancer.

Suprefact Injection is administered by a trained medical professional or by a doctor in a clinic or hospital setting. The usual recommended dose of Suprefact Injection is 0.5mL, 3 times daily at 8 hour intervals. The duration of treatment is 7 days.
