Description of Climara Pro

Climara Pro belongs to a class of drugs known as hormone replacement medications. Climara Pro contains estradiol, a form of estrogen which is naturally occurring in premenopausal women. It also contains levonorgestrel, a form of progestin. Estradiol in Climara Pro helps in suppressing certain menopausal symptoms, which mainly affect bone strength and may lead to osteoporosis. Levonorgestrel helps in decreasing the risk of cancer which is caused by the use of estrogen without progestin. The generic name of Climara Pro is estradiol/levonorgestrel.
