Description of Activella
The drug Activella is mostly used for the treatment of various symptoms associated with menopause. Estradiol and norethindrone are the two active ingredients present in Activella.
As a form of estrogen, Estradiol helps in the maintenance of the reproductive system in females. Norethindrone is a type of female hormone called progesterone. It regulates the functions of menstruation and ovulation. Together, they are known as Activella.
